Found.ation is a top-notch, privately funded and operated technology hub located in Athens, Greece. Originally established in 2011 as one of the first co-working spaces in SE Europe. Found.ation’s mission is to develop and mature local aspiring startup companies and talent by creating nationwide acceleration programs and a market-oriented Startup Education program, alongside quality events and hackathons. It aims to create long-term relationships, intersectoral collaborations and projects that will, ultimately, change our everyday lives. The implementation of this project will help us enhance and support the creation of an environment of trust and shared values among the members of the Greek business community (entrepreneurs, startups, SME’s, policy makers, VET providers, educational institutes) active in social innovation and entrepreneurship, in order to successfully implement a strong ecosystem sharing a common goal; to continuously achieve positive social outcomes. We will continue inviting talented developers in Hackathons for social good and design tailor made acceleration programs for and on behalf corporations, startups and communities which will empower social innovation and long-term change. We4YOU is a training and coaching NGO, helping its community by equipping it with “must have” entrepreneurial skills, web 2.0 tools, high performance strategies and proactive mind-set. Since 2003 it has become one of the leading players in Slovenian landscape, delivering trainings and coaching aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, start-ups, individuals who are just starting their entrepreneurial path and also NGO’s which want to implement such principles into their daily operations. In particular we are addressing females, which is our field of expertise. Maja Novak, Msc, CEO of We4YOU and her team, is bringing her vision of empowered and equal society into reality by introducing the community with advanced concepts and practices from the field of communication and dissemination strategies, effective use of social media (including video) to spread knowledge, fundraising and sponsorship activities, IT programming, mobile apps development and from the field of project management. We also deliver trainings, both live (to groups from 5 of 100+ people) and within on-line environment, having enrolled almost 100 students from all EU countries. By successfully conducting its activities, We4YOU realises its main purpose: to raise awareness about the emerging global trends and opportunities deriving from them, as well as supporting individuals and organisations to make a bigger impact in their lives.
